Sunniland provides a wide variety of lawn fertilizers to meet your needs. All of our fertilizers were engineered by Sunniland experts and manufactured at our own facilities.

• Lawns generally use more Nitrogen than other elements. Your lawn will use the Nitrogen to strengthen its root system and increase the top growth’s health and color. For a healthy and established law, a fertilizer high in Nitrogen is used during the early growth season. 
• If you’re starting a new lawn, healthy roots are more important than top growth. The top growth can be tended to after a healthy root system is established. In this case, a high level of Phosphate (P) is recommended. Your lawn will use Phosphate for the roots and to increase reproduction in turf grasses.
•  If you live in a cold or dry climate, or an area with plant diseases or insects, you want your lawn to be hardy. It needs to be healthy enough to survive in hostile environments or against natural elements. A high Potassium (K) fertilizer is recommended. Your lawn uses the Potassium to resist disease, parasite attacks, and sustain itself in cold, heat, or drought conditions.

You should also decide if you need a liquid or dry fertilizer. 

• Plants absorb all materials in liquid form. Your lawn will quickly absorb a liquid fertilizer and get an instant boost of nutrients. However, your lawn will use up a liquid fertilizer quickly. More frequent applications are needed.
• Dry fertilizers break down slowly and are absorbed by your lawn at a slow, steady rate. You won’t need to apply dry fertilizers as often, but you won’t see the effects as quickly. 
• Some lawn fertilizers also contain insecticides and herbicides to help control pests and weeds. Determine if you need this type of control before using a fertilizer containing these chemicals.

Sunniland offers the following lawn fertilizers.

Nitro Green is granular fertilizer high in Nitrogen. The Nitrogen is used to increase the top growth’s health and color. Because it is a dry fertilizer, it continuously feeds the lawn over a long period of time. To increase the amount of time that the lawn is fed, 25% of the Nitrogen used in Nitro Green is slow-released. This is an excellent fertilizer for southern grasses. Nitro Green is available in 32-pound and fifty-pound bags.

Milorganite is 100% organic. It is made of processed sewage sludge and is very high in iron. The iron helps strengthen the soil, which in turn anchors and nurtures the lawn. Milorganite is available in five-pound, ten-pound, and forty-pound bags.

6-6-6 is Florida’s leading all –purpose fertilizer. It contains 100% organic Nitrogen for the health of your top growth. 50% of the Nitrogen is slow-release so that your lawn is fed over a longer amount of time. The equal amounts of Phosphate and Potassium, and a blend of secondary elements gives your lawn a source of balanced nutrients. 6-6-6 is available in five-pound, ten-pound, twenty-pound, forty-pound, and fifty-pound bags.

All Florida Brand 6-6-6 is an all-purpose plant food specifically formulated for Florida’s lawn and gardens. The equal amounts of Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potassium help strengthen top growth and the root system, while fortifying the plant against diseases, insects, and harsh climate conditions. All Florida Brand 6-6-6 is available in a forty-pound bag.

8-8-8 is a granular fertilizer. Its fast-acting pellets are easy and convenient to use. The equal amounts of Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potassium help strengthen top growth and the root system, while fortifying the plant against diseases, insects, and harsh climate conditions. 8-8-8 is available in a 44-pound bag.

10-10-10 is a granular fertilizer. Its fast-acting pellets are easy and convenient to use. The equal amounts of Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potassium help strengthen top growth and the root system, while fortifying the plant against diseases, insects, and harsh climate conditions. 10-10-10 is available in a 44-pound bag.

Floratam Special is a premium, free-flowing fertilizer. It is specifically formulated for Floratam, St. Augustine, Bitter Blue, Seville, and Raleigh grasses. Twenty-five percent of the Nitrogen is slow release to feed your lawn for a four to six month period. Floratam Special is available in a thirty-pound bag.

Floratam Special S is a premium weed and feed fertilizer. This means that it fertilizes while controlling weed growth and reproduction. It contains Atrazine and is formulated for St. Augustine, Bitter Blue, Seville, and Raleigh laws. Floratam Special S is available in thirty-pound bags.

Weed & Feed for St. Augustine should be used on St. Augustine lawns in early spring and fall. It fertilizes your lawn while controlling weed growth and reproduction. Weed & Feed for St. Augustine is available in twenty-pound bags.

Super Weeder Feeder with Atrazine fertilizes while controlling weeds in St. Augustine, Centipede, and Zoysia grasses. If used before it appears, this fertilizer will also control crabgrass. Super Weeder Feeder with Atrazine is available in 25-pound and fifty-pound bags.

Weed & Feed for Bahia contains Trimec. It can be used on most Florida lawns and control broad-leafed weeds. Weed & Feed for Bahia comes in 25-pound and fifty-pound bags.

Fertilizer Plus Insect Control in One contains Chlorpyrifos. It controls ants, fleas, ticks, chinch bugs, mole crickets, and other pests. Fertilizer Plus Insect Control in One is available in a 25-pound bag.
